`I KURSIV´
Munkeruphus, 2026

`I KURSIV´ was created for the exhibition AF NATUR ER DET KOMMET (NATURE TO NATURE), on view at Munkeruphus from March 29 to November 1, 2026.

The work is made from folded, handmade Fabriano hemp paper. The prisms repeat across the surface, each angled slightly differently, creating a rhythm that explores the meeting between the geometric and the organic.

The piece is inspired by Gunnar Aagaard Andersen’s approach to systematic variations, here translated into cursive lines with shifting angles.

Developed in collaboration with origami designer Hans Dybkjær.

Materials: handmade hemp paper (100% hemp), plant-dyed hemp yarn, and methylcellulose.

AF NATUR ER DET KOMMET (NATURE TO NATURE) presents contemporary works made from natural and biodegradable materials, exploring the relationship between craftsmanship, material, and nature.
