SOLO EXHIBITION: “KOMOREBI”

Tanja Kirst Studio presents handwoven rugs, wall tapestries, and throws that explore haptic aesthetics and sensorial atmospheres through bamboo fibre and traditional Indo-Tibetan weaving techniques.

´Komorebi´ is inspired by the Japanese concept of sunlight filtering through leaves. The collection translates this interplay of light and shadow into abstract textile compositions, capturing the serene, dappled light characteristic of komorebi.

The works were created in collaboration with skilled weavers from Bhadohi, India.
